What is it about sitting in a place of total silence that scares many of us? What is it we fear we will be faced with once we peel back the layers of our existence to reveal what needs to be revealed in order for us to face the mirrors of our souls and to take responsibility for who we are? Why can't we see that by doing this we have the opportunity to live more balanced, content and harmonious lives with all the wonderful accompaniaments of great relationships, love and joy?
What is it that lies within that sacred space of silence and peace that drives us to ignore it and continue to go on life's merry-go-round, where pain, uncertainty, regret and broken hearts become our constant companions!
This may sound cliched but we are all on a journey. The ups and downs life often throws at us are there to serve us, they are our Lessons.
By learning to take time out of our daily routine to be still; by learning to meditate, pray or whatever you do in your special power spot, you will discover many treasures there, answers to doubts and fears and valuable guidance for your life. But you cannot hear any of this if your life is constantly full of being busy. The best thing about all of this is that you will discover that you can switch off, albiet briefly from life's daily chatter and inhale peace into a place where you can just be you.
