STOP
When your heart feels pain on a regular and constant basis, what do you think this is telling you?
When you feel pain in any part of your body, be mindful that this is telling you something more than you may want to face or realise.
How often do you get the chance to speak to that inner space within you to get answers?
How often do you feel lost, lonely, as if the world has turned its back on you?
Taking a minute of your time to delve within, to seek that space and place inside of you which holds the secrets to all you need is just a breath away.
If you can, for at least five minutes today, just stop what you are doing and look around you. Breathe deeply into your heart and soul and ask yourself this question: Who Am I? and then wait and see what this throws up at you?
You probably won't even know or even re-member who you are.
Therefore, within silence, you will find that pulse to your own heartbeat which tells you who you are. But you must gift yourself permission to be still, to exhale, to inhale something new. Remember also to be gentle with yourself. NO judgment in terms of where you are or who you show up to be. You can always change if you choose to.
Try this this week and see what shows up for you

Today I took time out
The next time you feel slightly anxious about life, take a step back for one brief moment. Today I had to do that. I have been feeling incredibly tired over the past two weeks, which have been very intense. At the back of my mind I know I should be taking time out, yet I still to some degree felt myself pushing beyond that feeling of lethargy and mental tiredness. Then yesterday when I was giving a reading to someone, she quietly said "Esther you need to take some time out, even if it is ten minutes."
Many times when we choose not to listen to our bodies which give us signs about what we need to do, the Universe then puts people or situations in our way to give us a wake up call.
Up until yesterday I had been sleeping in more and today I slept in until 11am. I then went for a two hour sauna and then sat in an open field and lay on the grass, closed my eyes and let my mind wander. It was such a relaxing experience and it left me feeling so much more grounded and, yes, ready for another nap.
Within that space of lying in the field, my mind was able to sift through some things, to enable me to get more clarity about what I needed to do when I got back on track and also to meditate.
Then this evening, I was due to do some telephone work, but I was still too mentally tired. A friend came around and we took the dog for a walk in the park. After a while we just sat, watching the sunset and spoke about life and stuff. It was amazing being in a place so still and watching the world at a distance slow down and the lights blazing from Canary Wharf. Within the peace and stillness of the park, and being privileged to watch the sky change colors and to sit with nature further enhanced the peace within me.
So once again, I urge you to take time out, not always easy, but we have to learn to create that time and space to put life down, to re-energize and to relax into a space that holds us, comforts and where we can exhale into.
Much love and blessings to you all

Seeking Silence
This whole thing about learning to be silent and still to see what cascades from within us is and has become incredibly important to me over the years. Throughout many of my life's challenges, I have had to often seek that place of solitude in order to re-discover me and to hold onto some semblance of sanity on a regular basis. Time after time after time the urge to find a space in my mind where I could put life down became more than a need. Escaping into nature was one of my more obvious traits, a place which filled me up, energised me and calmed my soul so that I could think, so that I could, at times, think my way through the maize of my thoughts and life to find calm, to find answers.
I usually tell my clients to find someplace to go. When the going gets tough and the tough gets going - find your inner sanctuary somewhere, anywhere and allow yourself to exhale.
On that note I would like to leave you with the following if you are interested in knowing more about teh powers of meditation.
I have been reading a great book of late - The Silva Method by Jose Silva. The Silva Method is a simple, practical, easy to learn method which enables individuals to use the mind significantly more effectively, helping to solve your problems, reach goals, manage stress and improve health. The mainstay of this technique is meditation. If anyone is interested please visit www.silvamethod.uk.com.
There will be free introductory evenings at the Royal College of Surgeons, 35-43 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, WC2A 3PE on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 26th April, 6.30pm-8.30pm
Much love always
Esther.

especially in this current climate of conscious unrest and instability and for
those who are searching for more alternative and harmonious ways of living. It is a soulful book of immense power,
touching deeply on matters of the heart and soul yet light and subtle in its
delivery of its message.
Esther Austin’s love and passion is personal
transformation and empowerment. She is
an Author, Intuitive Healer, Soul Guide and Inspirational radio presenter. She was inspired to write this book because
of her own life experiences and those of her Clients. Experiences which have often been incredibly
painful. As a result she realised the
importance of going within to find peace, respite and answers in what can
sometimes be a volatile and scary world.
Within Silence, Wisdom Whispers will be
launched at the International Women’s Month 2012 – Women’s Weekender Expo at
Fairfield Hall, Croydon, Saturday 17th 12pm-7pm AND Sunday 18th

EXCERPT FROM THE BOOK
Have
you ever spoken to your Soul?
Have you ever spoken to your soul
Under the covers of your fears?
Lighting the lamp of hope
Which flickered tentatively
As the breath of your prayers
Shakily wavered its flames
And the tears of your dreams
Streamed down into the sheets of your existence?
Have you ever spoken to your soul
Under the covers of your fears?
Lighting the lamp of hope
Which flickered tentatively
As the breath of your prayers
Shakily wavered its flames
And the tears of your dreams
Streamed down into the sheets of your existence?
Have you ever spoken to your heart?
Which once beat strong to the tune of the Universe
Whose strings now lie strewn
Amidst the embers of thought and mind
(Controllers, destroyers of our truth)
A heart whose blood no longer pumps nor gushes
Scarlet and ravishing
But limps to the tiredness of disillusionment
Which once beat strong to the tune of the Universe
Whose strings now lie strewn
Amidst the embers of thought and mind
(Controllers, destroyers of our truth)
A heart whose blood no longer pumps nor gushes
Scarlet and ravishing
But limps to the tiredness of disillusionment

How to find the Silence Within
What is it about sitting in a place of total silence that scares many of us? What is it we fear we will be faced with once we peel back the layers of our existence to reveal what needs to be revealed in order for us to face the mirrors of our souls and to take responsibility for who we are? Why can't we see that by doing this we have the opportunity to live more balanced, content and harmonious lives with all the wonderful accompaniaments of great relationships, love and joy?
What is it that lies within that sacred space of silence and peace that drives us to ignore it and continue to go on life's merry-go-round, where pain, uncertainty, regret and broken hearts become our constant companions!
This may sound cliched but we are all on a journey. The ups and downs life often throws at us are there to serve us, they are our Lessons.
By learning to take time out of our daily routine to be still; by learning to meditate, pray or whatever you do in your special power spot, you will discover many treasures there, answers to doubts and fears and valuable guidance for your life. But you cannot hear any of this if your life is constantly full of being busy. The best thing about all of this is that you will discover that you can switch off, albiet briefly from life's daily chatter and inhale peace into a place where you can just be you.
Certainly within Silence, Wisdom does Whisper.
Much love
Esther
